The Dallas County Health Department recently began reporting COVID-19 cases by zip code, and while the numbers aren’t exact, they give us an idea of how many cases there are in our neighborhood.
There are somewhere between 12-36 cases of COVID-19 in three Lake Highlands zip codes — 75243, 75231, 75238. That means we have somewhere between 1% and 3% of all cases in Dallas County, based on 1,155 cases reported Monday, April 6.
The two zip codes with the most cases are in South Dallas and Desoto, which both have 38-47.
