Lake Highlands neighbor Julie Fisk first began sharing her opinion on movies ten years ago when she worked for Jack FM radio, and she later became the film critic for KRLD, KVIL and CBS 11. Soon, she was voted into the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association.
When she lost her radio gig in 2014, Fisk wasn’t ready to walk away from covering movies, so she started the Julie Says So website. Her bold humor and frank analysis struck a chord with fans, and she became the film critic for radio shows all across the country. Good Morning Texas later hired her as an entertainment contributor.
On Friday, Julie Says So released her list of Top 10 Movies of the Decade.
“This is about more than ten years of film for me,” she wrote on the website. “It represents the movies that truly changed my life.”
