While most of our neighbors escaped the pathway of last month’s tornado, there are still those affected. They are invited to attend tuition-free classes on storm recovery at Richland College.

The classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 16 in Sabine Hall, Room SH 118. Attendees can register for single sessions, multiple sessions, a half day or a full day.

Nov. 16 sessions include:

8-9 a.m. Emotional Support After a Natural Disaster

9:10-10:10 a.m. Navigating the Insurance Process

10:20-11:20 a.m. Disaster Planning for Small Business

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Basic Home Safety

12:30-1:30 p.m. Lunch

1:30-2:30 p.m. Community Resources in a Time of Crisis

2:40-3:40 p.m. Protect Yourself After the Storm

3:50-4:50 p.m. DIY Home Repairs After a Tornado
