Goldstein currently works for Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings as chief of policy and communications. He’s previously worked as a metro reporter for the Dallas Morning News and Digital Content Editor at the nonprofit Baylor Scott & White Health.

“Our team has worked closely with Scott for years, so we know first-hand the depth and breadth of judgement, skills, and knowledge he brings to us,” said Dallas Regional Chamber President and CEO Dal Petroskey.

At the Dallas Regional Chamber, Goldstein will work on all communications and marketing efforts to fulfill the chamber’s 5-year strategic plan, which includes attracting companies, jobs and talent to the Dallas region; improving education and workforce readiness; and advocating for pro-growth public policies at all levels of government.

Goldstein will also supervise the team in charge of the chamber’s more than 200 events each year.

“I’m thrilled to join a team that I’ve come to know and respect through the years,” Goldstein said in a news release. “This is a tremendous opportunity for me to continue to serve the city and region that I chose to make my home and raise a family.”
