Celebrate the volunteers who keep our neighborhood safe while sampling 20 area restaurants during the Dallas Police Department Northeast Division’s Taste of the Northeast. The event is slated Thursday, April 25, at Highland Oak Church of Christ, 10805 Walnut Hill Lane.

The White Rock Home Tour highlights six mid-century modern and contemporary modern houses throughout Lake Highlands and East Dallas, including the remodeled home of Sweet Tooth Hotel creators Cole and Jencey Keeton. Established as a fundraiser for Hexter Elementary, the home tour is slated April 27-28 from noon-5 p.m. Tickets cost $20. Get more details here.
