Honduras Fresh Coffee is joining the list of independently owned coffee shops in the White Rock area.
Serving up coffee, espresso, paninis and pastries, Honduras Fresh Coffee recently opened its doors at 9219 Garland Road near the Dallas Arboretum, CultureMap reports.
The Guerra family, who own the shop, are from the Central American country. They hope to bring the same quality of coffee to the U.S, Kristen Guerra, who manages the business with her mother, told CultureMap.
“We saw that coffee wasn’t being handled the same way it is in the Honduras,” she said. “And my father is in the business and knew growers we could work with. We saw the opportunity to open a coffee shop where we could roast and grind fresh coffee with no preservatives or added flavors, and achieve the same quality we were accustomed to, growing up there.”
