Frank Troyka

In the world of Texas high school band, the highest honor is Bandmaster of the Year, presented by the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA). Before 2019, Eddie Green was the only Lake Highlands High band director to ever earn the honor. Over the weekend, former LHHS and Forest Meadow Junior High educator Frank Troyka joined TMEA’s esteemed ranks as Bandmaster of the Year.
