Dr. Maria Boccalandro is an expert in sustainable urban planning with a PhD in political science. As director of the sustainability program at Cedar Valley College, she’s leading her campus toward carbon neutrality, and she will speak about global sustainability Jan. 16.

Sara Korman will visit on Jan. 23 to discuss the legacy of the Holocaust. As the daughter of Holocaust survivors, it’s a topic deeply personal.

Both discussions begin at 4:15 p.m. in the L building library and are free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.
