Josh, one of LH’s trio of Carter brothers famed for their basketball talent, was recruited by Notre Dame, Illinois, Texas Tech and Washington State until finally choosing to play for the Aggies. He was a star player from the minute he walked onto the court as a freshman at Texas A&M, and as a sophomore he co-led the NCAA’s Division I for 3-point accuracy. When he graduated, he was the winningest player in A&M history.

Josh went undrafted in the United States, but he’s played overseas for professional leagues in Germany, Israel, Russia, Italy, Turkey and France.

The induction ceremony will take place on the LHHS center court at 7:30 p.m. just before the Wildcats take on Skyline at 8. Previous honorees include Merton Hanks, Matt Stover, Darvis “Doc” Patton, Andre Tillman, Dwayne Tanner, Marcus Stiggers, Kara Lee Reynolds and Lisa Becker.
