Can Lake Highlands become the best neighborhood in DFW?

Lake Highlands has some of the best and most family-friendly neighborhoods in Dallas according to Niche.com.

Niche ranks neighborhoods by 12 factors like jobs, nightlife, diversity, public schools and cost of living. The site’s list of this year’s Best Neighborhoods to Live in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area included two spots in Lake Highlands in the top 10: Moss Farm – Forest Meadow at No. 2 and White Rock Valley at No. 6.

Both neighborhoods ranked highly for their housing, health and fitness, and being family-friendly. While Moss Haven nearly ranked No. 1, it’s Crime & Safety rating of C+ dragged down its overall score. Perhaps if we can fix our crime score, we can boost Lake Highlands to the top neighborhood in DFW.

Other neighborhoods in the top 10 were in East Dallas and Far North Dallas near Addison.
