Six things to do this Father’s Day weekend

Not sure how to spend Father’s Day? Take pop to the top of Reunion Tower or to a musical production of the “The Lion King” at Fair Park.

If you’d rather stay in the neighborhood, the Dallas Arboretum planned several Father’s Day activities, including samples from Pegasus City Brewery and Legal Draft Beer Company, a grill display from Elliot’s Hardware, live music, smoothies, popsicles and baked goods. Events run all weekend and are free with admission.

Dallas United Crew is hosting a free day of rowing and dragon boating Saturday at White Rock Lake. Register by Thursday to make sure they have enough equipment for you. The free Community Row and Paddle will include rowing from 9-10:30 a.m. and dragon boating from 10:15-11:30 a.m.

Head to Flag Pole Hill  Saturday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to take part in the The Kindness Rocks Project. The family-friendly event will allow children to decorate their own kindness rock and is from Peacemakers United, who plan events to celebrate kindness.

Singer-songwriters George Ensle and Charlie Roth share their talents at Uncle Calvin’s Friday. The show starts at 8 p.m. and costs $15-$18 per person.
