Country life in the city: A Peep at the Coops

This fancy chicken coop will be featured at A Peep at the Coops Tour

Dallas may be an urban jungle, but the Moss Haven Elementary neighborhood will be giving off more of a barnyard vibe Sunday at the A Peep at the Coops tour of backyard chicken coops. The 9th annual event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and benefits Moss Haven Farm, will feature a country market, farm tour and live local entertainment. If you get hungry, lunch will be available from food trucks such as The Guava Tree Truck, One90 Smoked Meats, Urban Crust and Steel City Pops. If you win the $5 raffle, you’ll win your very own mobile coop.

Tickets are $10 per person (kids 12 and under are free) and are available with maps at MHE, 9202 Moss Farm Lane, during the event.
