Celebrate Easter this weekend (or not) with lots of fun events

Honor Maundy Thursday at Lake Highlands UMC by making blankets for traumatized children to give to the Linus Project. Holy communion will follow the service project.

Celebrate all Easter weekend with live music, Easter-themed games and an Eddie Coker concert at Dallas Arboretum. Events begin at 9 a.m. on Good Friday.

Bring the kiddos for an Easter egg hunt and enjoy free breakfast for the whole family at Dallas First Assembly of God. The event begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday!

The side project of Graceland Ninjaz member David McMahon, Wood Steel Rhythm makes its debut with a mix of blues, rockabilly and funk sounds. Grab food and a drink during the show at Lake House Bar & Grill.

If you or your parents are on Medicare, swing by the info session at Forest Green library hosted by “The Medicare Guys Texas.” They will be available to answer all your questions so you can understand Medicare a little better.
