UIL district realignment is unveiled tomorrow

UIL district realignment is unveiled tomorrow.

University Interscholastic League (UIL) realignments will be announced tomorrow, and some prognosticators think Lake Highlands High School will be joined in District 9-6A by Dallas ISD’s Molina High. Molina competed at the 5A level when districts were last aligned in 2016.

Tony Blalock of the Texas Redzone Report predicts District 9-6A, currently comprised of Dallas ISD’s Skyline and W.T. White, RISD’s Lake Highlands, Berkner, Richardson High and Pearce, Jesuit College Prep and Coppell, will be joined by Molina, with no current teams leaving the district. Molina is located near Mountain View College in southwest Dallas. They went 8-3 in football last season and 0-8 in volleyball.
