Mark Salling, a 2001 Wildcat, was found dead yesterday in Los Angeles. He was 35.
He rose to fame as a star of the hit show “Glee,” but found notoriety when he pled guilty to child pornography charges last year. He faced four to seven years in prison, with sentencing set for March 7.
Stories have been published across the globe detailing the actor’s death (try here, or here or here), but out of respect for his family, that information won’t be published by the Advocate. Before his rise and fall in the public eye, he was an average Lake Highlands kid, the son of Condy Sue and John Robert Salling.
