Pulitzer Prize- and Tony-winning play “Glengarry Glen Ross” begins its run at the Bath House Cultural Center on Friday, January 19 at 8 p.m. The show revolves around four Chicago real estate agents who will do just about anything for their cut of the American dream. If you’re looking for a play the whole family can enjoy, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show” brings to life four Eric Carle books with colorful costumes and high-energy performances. Opening night is January 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Dallas Children’s Theater and tickets range from $17-$28.

Trying to eat healthier in 2018? Stop by Half Price Books on Friday to meet nutrition and health expert Diane Sanfilippo. The New York Times bestselling author will host a short talk, Q&A and book signing for her new book “The 21-Day Sugar Detox Daily Guide.”

The Lake Highlands Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an information session with the President and CEO of Texas Can Academies, Richard Marquez.
