The fourth-annual Praise the Lake fundraiser includes a brunch, Bloody Mary bar and silent auction on Sunday. Members of the Booker T. Washington High School choir will perform at the event, a benefit for the White Rock Lake Foundation, held from noon-3 p.m. at the White Rock Lake Filter Building. Tickets are $100 and available here.

Sundays in the Park will be live streaming the Cowboys vs. Eagles game this Sunday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m.  The game will be shown outside at Lake Highlands Town Center so bring your lawn chairs and blankets to watch football with the neighborhood. 
Art Mart is a three-day showcases of work by local artists in a plethora of styles, from painting and photography to jewelry and pottery. There is also a live auction. Founded in 2003, Art Mart benefits the nonprofit Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center, and runs Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Skyview Harmony Garden will open its gates this Saturday, Nov. 18, at 9 a.m. for its Lake Highlands community herb harvest. The Skyview Garden will have a scavenger hunt for kids and be open for everyone to gather fresh herbs for all their Thanksgiving day meals.
The season story “Frosty and Friends” runs Nov. 17-Dec. 3 at Dallas Children’s Theater. This puppet troupe tells the heart-warming tale of Frosty, whose holiday spirit triumphs over his friends’ busyness. The performance is recommended for children ages 4 and older. Tickets are $23-$30.

The KayCee Club will host its first annual Chili Cook-off this Saturday, Nov. 18 at noon. Pick up a list of rules and an entry form at the KayCee Club, 10110 Shoreview Road.

Comedic magician Rudy Coby will be lecturing in Lake Highlands Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m.  Coby will be teaching magicians of all skill levels how to create an original act in his first ever lecture series titled “How To Be A World Famous Magician”. The doors open at 1:30 p.m. and tickets are $20.

Episcopal Church of the Ascension presents Music in the Atrium Sunday, Nov. 19, from 4-5 p.m. Camille King, Professor of Voice at Southern Methodist University and others will be performing works by Handel, Mozart and Brahms. For more details visit their website.
