Shortly before midnight on Saturday, Dallas police were called to a home at 13030 Audelia Road. The victim, a 31-year-old man, had been shot in the back by two unknown assailants.
According to police, the victim did not know the two men, but got into an altercation with them on the street. As he turned away, one of the suspects shot the man. The pair fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
