Highlander sixth graders work to Feed Lake Highlands

Sixth grade students at Highlander School rolled up their sleeves last week to pack and deliver food for needy families in the community via the Feed Lake Highlands program. In addition to delivering 205 cans and 422 bags of food donated by Highlander families, students moved 3000 pounds of food and bagged 100 shopping bags. Their efforts and the work of Feed Lake Highlands will result in dinners on the table for families in the LH community.
