Monday at 7 p.m., Lake Highlands High School football stadium hosts Drum Corps International, where elite marching music groups from all over the world perform for fans. Tickets are $30-$55.

Friday at 10:30 a.m., the Dallas Museum of Art Go Van Gogh comes to the Audelia Road Branch Library. This hands-on learning experience is an artistic exploration of the theme “Guardians from Around the World” and is free.

Friday The Dallas Arboretum continues its Garden Gigs series, when singer and songwriter John Lefler, formerly of Dashboard Confessional and The Wimbledons, plays with Dallas native Camille Cortinas. The two artists will perform together in a unique blend of indie and Texas Country. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10.

Lisa Markley and Bruce Balmer perform Friday night at 8 p.m. at Uncle Calvin’s. The two have performed in the Dallas area for years, but are moving to upstate New York, and this may be their last set at Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse. Tickets are $15-$18.

The North Lake Highlands Recreation Center has an open gym for teenagers Monday-Friday, from 3:30-5:45 p.m. and is free.

Get your health fix this weekend at the White Rock Market, Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market is at Lake Pointe Church near White Rock Lake and offers local produce, artisan eats and crafts.
