White Rock Coffee is hoping to make Easter merrier for dozens of homeless and at-risk kids this year. The family owned coffee shop is collecting donations of specific items (see list below) through March 28 at any of their three locations (10105 E. Northwest Highway, 4216 Abrams Road and inside Children’s Health).

On Wednesday, March 29, the shop will host an assembly party at 6 p.m. to turn all of the donations into fanciful Easter basket to be given to local children via the nonprofit Rainbow Days. That event will take place at the Northwest Highway location.

Rainbow Days supports at-risk kids through support groups, summer camps and other programs designed to give them normal childhood experiences while dealing with a chaotic or transitional living situation. White Rock Coffee hope to fill 135 Easter baskets with useful items like baby blanks, bibs, burp cloths, rattles, baby lotion and more.
