At the Dallas Children’s Theater, two classic holiday productions are underway — all month, throughout Dec. 21. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “The Nutcracker” (told through puppetry instead of ballet). Get all of the showtimes and tickets here.

The trains once again are rolling along their tiny tracks through a compressed cityscape at NorthPark Center. This event has been happening for 18 years and every year more than 80,000 people come to see. All proceeds of the Trains benefit the Ronald McDonald House, which helps families of sick children.  For more information, click here.

The DeGolyer House at the Dallas Arboretum features its Claus Collection Santa Exhibit, presented by the Junior League of Dallas, through Dec. 31. It’s open daily and features guided tours and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 pm. Free visits with Santa, the 12 Days of Christmas exhibit and more launch this weekend at the arboretum. Navigate the whole shebang here.
