Photos: Lake Highlands celebrates National Night Out by giving back to cops

On Tuesday night, Lake Highlands marked National Night Out, a day when neighbors and local first responders get together in the name of community and safety. The Lake Highlands Square Neighborhood Association marked the occasion by donating funds for the police fitness center to Chief Andrew Acord of the Northeast Division Patrol Bureau. The event was organized once again by neighbor Joan Patmore, a longtime supporter of the program.
