The police indicated that this particular crime spree was confined to the apartment complex, but at least one nearby homeowner — she lives on Glen Springs, 1.3 miles from Stone Ranch — says she was burglarized within the time frame, on Feb. 2, two days before the police nabbed Christopher Roan Perkins, Andre Lamar Drumgoole, Ladarrius Jamar Williams as they carried stolen property from a Stone Ranch resident’s home.

It would be difficult to identify these suspects by the video, as you can see (they appear in the beginning and again around the 2:15 mark. Anyone else think the one in white pants appears female?)

Get this, though: The victim says she tracked her iPad, which was stolen that day (using the Track My iPad app), to the Stone Ranch Apartments. Stone Ranch is an enormous apartment community with thousands of units, so it will still be difficult to pinpoint the device.

The homeowner’s case is still under investigation.

We have contacted police to find out if they are considering the arrestees from last week in this case or any others, but we have not heard back yet.
