Lake Highlands United Methodist Church volunteers prepared meals for more than 15,000 people Sunday as part of their “Stop Hunger Now” mission event. The food packages, part of a larger school feeding program, will be shipped to hungry children and families in 65 countries around the world.

If you have a desire to contribute to the effort, you can donate online here. Each meal costs just 29 cents to produce.
