This Saturday, Aug. 22, Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense is hosting its second annual Brew Ha Ha at the new Oak Highlands Brewery at 10484 Brockwood in Lake Highlands. It’s a brewmaster’s workout course where you exercise by lifting kegs and dragging grain, etc. The hour workout from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. is conducted by studio owner Nick Chamberlain, a ninth degree black belt, and is open to the public for a $20 entry fee. See the photo exhibit “Wild and Peaceful” running through Sept. 26. Neighborhood artist Anna Palmer has been photographing wildlife and landscapes at White Rock Lake for several years.
