Same: On September 17, from 6 a.m. – midnight, make a donation to your favorite charity through the North Texas Giving Day webpage. Gifts of $25 or more will be “amplified” by $2.2 million in bonus funds and prizes.

Different: The Dallas Donation Station and KidsGive events, which previously took place at Communities Foundation of Texas, are moving to NorthPark Center. On Giving Day, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., head to the mall’s NorthCourt area between Macy’s and Nordstrom. There, you’ll witness live performances by Dallas Children’s Theater, Ballet Folklorico and Lone Star Wind Orchestra. Kiddos can throw their spare change in a collection box. They’ll also have the chance to design get well cards for hospital patients, stuff goody bags for women seeking financial independence and create sensory bottles for people with Autism.
