Two children were inside a home where two people were killed and three others were grievously injured in a knife attack. The victims are all Asian, according to Jenny Doran’s report on WFAA. This all happened at the Indigo, a massive apartment community on Forest at Audelia, but one that has seen improvement and reduced violence over the last few years. One resident even tells the reporter about the increased security at the Indigo, which makes the attack all the more egregious. The children were taken into protection and were physically unharmed.

Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with an armed hold-up in the nearby Lochwood neighborhood, just south of Lake Highlands, reports Fox4. Police are investigating the possibility that the same suspects are responsible for two separate Lake Highlands area robberies — one behind Flag Pole Hill and the other near Lake Highlands Junior High — over the past couple weeks.
