Gardens kits distributed to families will include 8 GardenSoxx, which are compost-filled mesh tubes that together make a 4’ by 4’ garden. Holes are cut into the fabric to plant seeds. Each garden kit also includes a watering can, care guide, recipe guide and seeds.

The Family Garden Demonstration Project will distribute 148 garden kits to low-income families in Dallas. Volunteers will distribute the gardens and show families how to plant and care for the GardenSoxx gardens.
