Rambler Park has been awarded the first LEED Platinum for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance certification in Dallas and North Texas, according to a statement released yesterday.

The LEED Platinum certification recognizes excellence in sustainability in ongoing building operations demonstrated through actual performance data proving that operational efficiencies are maximized and environmental impacts are minimized.

The large number of tenant employees using alternative transportation such as the Walnut Hill DART station, which was recently connected to the Rambler Park building, helped the building earn the distinguished certification.

Additionally, Rambler Park’s green practices during renovations — including construction waste recycling, sustainable renovation product purchases, and indoor air quality management of construction activities — also increased the building’s sustainability score.

To continue its dedication to eco-friendly practices, Parmenter Realty Partners will require the use of green cleaning products and methods at Rambler Park, extending sustainability requirements to landscaping, window washing, and pest control service providers.
