Featured Cottonwood Art Festival art by Ron Ronald: ronrolandart.com

Ever so slightly north of Lake Highlands, but well worth the 3-8 minute commute, the Cottonwood Art Festival takes place this weekend at Cottonwood Park, near Richardson High School. The event boasts more than 240 of the nation’s top visual artists selected by  jury from more than 1,400 submissions.

The festival is held Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking and admission are free, so if you can’t take in all of the artwork in one sitting, come back for more the next day.

There also will be plenty of live music, family-friendly activities, and foodie-friendly eats too. Click here for all of the details.
