A tree smashes a car in our neighborhood. Word is, the driver escaped practically unscathed.
Monday evening as a woman pulled into her driveway on the 9200 block of Cliffmere, a tree fell on her car. No, not just a little branch or a baby tree, but a giant. See for yourself.
A family member shared the photo and story online, and it has been making its way around the social network. Reportedly the tree fell while the driver was still in the car but, against the odds, missed the driver’s seat.
Her only injuries were some minor scratches from shattered glass, her adult son notes in a Facebook post.
“Some absolutely crazy things can happen, things that we can’t predict. But tonight, my family experienced a miracle. Miracles come in all shapes and sizes. Each of us experience amazing moments and challenging times each day. But the bottom line is to always have faith and to enjoy every second of life with the people you love.”
