Advocate photographer Brandy Barham got a front-row seat to the action at the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands Fourth of July parade this past Thursday.
“I sweet talked the third float in line to let me ride with them through the first part of the run,” she says. “The Dallas police officers, Sargent Luis Grajeda in particular, were extremely accommodating and helped me into their truck so that I could get a great view of the crowd during the parade.”
She brings us some great photos of the parade. Editor, Christina Hughes Babb, also shared some of her favorite moments at the parade last week via Vine videos. Neighborhood blogger Carol Toler was there, too, to capture the action.
