Without revealing too much, I am working on a happiness-inducing story for the March issue about the wonders of White Rock Lake.

Featured in the piece will be a goose colony, which divides its time between Sunset Bay and the Bath House Cultural Center.

We sent our staff photographer Danny Fulgencio out to photograph the friendly water fowl and a local plumber who dedicates his evenings to caring for the birds.

The scene caught the attention of White Rock Lake frequenter and serious hobby photographer Lorri Crossno Nevil, who photographed the photographer photographing the wildlife.
