The MyChildren’s primary care clinic at 8330 Abrams celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting Aug. 7. The ceremony’s attendees included Christopher J. Durovich, president and CEO of Children’s Medical Center, District 10 Councilman Jerry Allen and Lake Highlands pediatricians Dr. Michelle Le-Pugeda and Dr. Veronica Acosta. Winner of a Dallas Children’s Theater contest, Lily Forbes, 10, will get to see actors wearing her costume designs for bees, butterflies and birds in the fall performance of “Pinkalicious the Musical.” Awards were announced July 27 at the DCT at a small ceremony that included pink cupcakes, pink lemonade and flocks of decorative pink flamingos.

A July 30 party at Churchill Estates, a senior living community off Northwest Highway, celebrated Henry Ford’s birthday with cars and cupcakes.
