You and your family are in for a treat this weekend as the Lake Highlands High School pop choir, Espree, performs their big show of the year. Rockin’ the Paradise and other music from Styx is the theme this year, and they’ll include several Disney numbers and other songs suitable for little kids to grandparents. Beware of whiplash from the frequent costume changes and the high energy of the 19-student ensemble, and if you’re an Espree alum, you’re invited to sit in the special section to reunite with old friends.

Reserved tickets are available by emailing Espree mom Shannon Kidd here ($10 in advance) or you can buy reserved seats at the door for $12. Children, students and seniors will pay $5 at the door and adult general admission is $10. The curtain goes up at 7pm and choir directors Michael O’Hern and Terry Berrier look forward to welcoming you to the show.
