Hit the road

Test your speed and endurance at the Too Cold to Hold 5k or 10k race at Norbuck Park near White Rock Lake, Sunday, Jan. 22 at 8:30 a.m. Registration ($35-$40) includes a T-shirt and a cute winter cap (first 1,500) and post-race beer and food. Some proceeds will benefit the Protective Animal League (PAL), which contributes to the welfare of dogs and cats by educating the public on proper care and treatment of pets, obtaining necessary care for animals in need and engaging in animal rescue activities.
