Classes begin August 22, but tryouts for multiple sports are in action right now at Lake Highlands High.
The Lady Wildcats volleyball program has a new coach at the helm in Michelle Massey, and the team has opened tryouts will be held Monday through Thursday, August 1 – 4 at the LHHS gym.
If you missed Mondays tryouts, you can still get in starting tomorrow.
Times are:
Tues.- Wed. 8 am – 10 am and 2 – 4 pm
Thur. 7 am – 9 am and 12 pm – 2 pm

Teams will be announced at the end of the morning session on Thursday.
Boys golf tryouts are at Firewheel Golf Course August 15-16 starting at 7:30 am.
Tennis Tryouts are set for August 15-18 from 4-6:30 pm each day at the LHHS tennis courts. Players may begin warming up at about 4pm each day and formal tryouts will begin at about 4:30pm.
Oh yeah, and don’t forget about the Wildcats football scrimmage Friday, August 19 at 9 am for Freshman/JV and 10 am for Varsity at Homer B Johnson Field in Garland.
