This so-called “Clinic Cat” was the inspiration for the children’s book, “Cinco the Clinic Cat”, written by Lake Highlands resident Carol Brickell. Members of The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in North Dallas and The Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Lake Highlands travel annually to a medical clinic in Honduras, where Cinco, pictured here on the clinic steps, offers companionship and a comfort to patients and workers.
