You can catch her at SMU’s Meadows Theatre in the ensemble cast of Yerma, where she acts and performs a Flamenco dance. The play by Federico Garcia Lorca is a drama of obsession, passion, jealously and friendship and tells the story of a woman whose desire for a child drives her to murder. Performances are Wed.-Sat. at 8 pm and Sat. & Sun. at 2 pm.

Somehow, she’ll also find time to play Andromache in a student production of Andromache, part of the SMU Theatre Greek Festival. This outdoor performance is designed to resemble the festival traditions of ancient Greece, where citizens from across the country would gather in Athens to celebrate and share stories, plays and competitions. Student performers will incorporate dance, art and music in their presentations at the Hillcrest Foundation Amphitheater, outdoors behind the new Caruth Engineering Building. The 45 minute show begins at 5 pm on Thursday and 4:30 pm on Saturday, April 30th.

While at LHHS, you’ll recall, Meredith dazzled audiences as Hedy LaRue, the vixen secretary in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Abigail Williams, the manipulative accuser in The Crucible, among many other roles.

Tickets to Yerma are available online here, and no ticket is needed for Andromache.
