The city is now enforcing a garage sale permit fee, but that won’t stop the L Streets from hosting its popular yearly event.
The L Streets Neighborhood Association today announced that it will hold it’s annual spring garage/yard sale April 30. L Streets and L Streets North will combine for a super sized sale.
For those who want to participate, the City of Dallas now requires a garage sale permit — yep — so everyone who has a garage sale must ante up $15, online at dallascityhall.com or at any Dallas Public Library location.
Households participating in this particular garage sale, will enjoy the benefit of a classified ad (paid for by the neighborhood associations) and, of course, increased traffic due to the concentration of sales.
The L Streets are north of Northwest Highway, east of Ferndale, west of Plano Road. The L Streets North includes 570 homes north of McCree, south of Walnut Hill and east of Ferndale and west of Plano.
