LAKE HIGHLANDS ELEMENTARY is on the 2010 Texas Business and Education Coalition (TBEC) Honor Roll. This is the second year that LHE has been named to the honor roll. Of more than 8,000 Texas public schools, fewer than 4 percent are honored with this award. The honor roll is awarded to those schools with diverse student populations who have shown consistent high performance in all subject areas compared with schools of similar demographics.
