Advocate Live Local columnist Erin Moyer mentioned the second location of Dallas Bike Works in her March column, and a blog post on unrelated new retail and restaurants around our neighborhood led to a string of comments from neighbors waiting on pins and needles for the new shop to open. The waiting is over: Boyd and Katy Wallace’s second Dallas Bike Works location is now open for business.
Thanks to neighbor Robert Russell for ending our suspense. The new shop is located where PT’s Gentlemen’s Club once operated, as many have noted, and can be reached at 214.343.BIKE. It’s more likely, though, that those who frequent the shop will skip the phone call and simply stop by during a ride on the nearby White Rock Creek Trail. The Wallaces’ original location is in the Skillman-Abrams Tom Thumb shopping center.
