At tonight’s Wildcat basketball game, 96 elementary-aged girls will get the chance to dance and cheer with the LHHS cheerleaders in front of a big crowd in the LHHS gym. The K-6th grade girls attended a clinic last Saturday and perfected their moves with the help of varsity and JV cheerleaders who showed them how it’s done.

Proceeds from the clinic will be given to the Buckner Home in memory of former Wildcat cheerleader Emily Stuller, killed in a car accident near the Baylor campus where she was a student.

With the parents of the little girls likely to come cheer their cheerleaders and the usual fans and rowdies coming to the game, I’d say you’d be wise to get there early for a seat in the stands. Go Cats!
