Sophomore Murphy Short scored in the first two minutes of play last night, and the Cats controlled the ball well during the game. Joel Mendoza, also a sophomore, scored a goal in the second half to seal the deal, and goalkeeper Myles Osborn posted a shutout. Jonathan Esselin, aka Young Swede, was sidelined due to a concussion suffered in practice but is expected to return after he recovers.
