Just in from my afternoon jaunt to CVS for aspirin and Diet Mountain Dew — while in the car (6 minutes total maybe) I heard no less than three promos about the KTCK The Ticket basketball game versus the ladies of the Lake Highlands Thunder. Plus, the BaD radio guys were talking about it in between promos. And while "Team Ticket" has all the on-air time in the world to talk trash — the high school girls have had zero air time.
That’s why we decided to give them a forum on Advocate radio. This afternoon, the Lake Highlands Thunder team captains will join us after school to record a podcast, which I’ll post right after we’re done, if all goes as planned.
(I would have had the whole team out, but we simply don’t have enough microphones)
