Rhonda Russell at the Exchange Club sent me this info more than a week ago — I’m just now getting it posted — but better late than never (I suppose).
The LHHS Senior Class of 2008 established a new scholarships fund in honor of retiring principal Bob Iden.
“The Dr. Bob Iden Scholarship is now in place to reward future graduating students at Lake Highlands. The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, who will administer the fund and future scholarships, is now accepting donations to insure its longevity. The criteria for selection of scholarship recipients will be determined by Dr. Iden.”
To contribute to the fund, you can send a check to The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, designating for The Dr. Bob Iden Scholarship. Checks may be sent to ECLH, Box 823725, Dallas, Texas 75382.
