Here’s a rare opportunity to see some great old movies on the big screen. Local radio station KLIF will host the Black History Month movie festival at the Angelica Film Center at Mockingbird Station beginning tonight at 7:30 with a screening of Malcom X . Here’s the rest of the schedule:
Feb. 20 – Tuskegee Airmen
Feb. 26 – Glory
Feb. 28 – To Kill a Mockingbird
Each rolls at 7:30 p.m. and a panel discussion will precede each movie.
Come on — forego the latest Larry the Cable Guy flick — and see one of these films that give us a reason to hold our heads a little higher.
