The Lake Highlands-based nonprofit serves low income children in Dallas by using out-of-school time to improve their academic, social and emotional lives.

The Dwyers delivered the water bottles to the Otto Apartments on Royal Lane yesterday. Kids-U operated its after school program for the past four years at the Otto Apartments.

The Kids-U donation is just one of the many ways neighbors are taking care of neighbors since the snowstorm. The Lake Highlands Area Moms Against Racism donated pizza and water to several neighborhood apartment complexes this week and last.
