Oooh, honey! The Store in Lake Highlands is ‘sweet sixteen’

Cloister Honey is one of The Store’s new products available for tasting during their Sweet 16 celebration

The Store in Lake Highlands is turning sweet sixteen this week, but it’s Feed Lake Highlands that will take home the goodies. The Store is hosting a canned fruit drive, and they’re asking customers to bring a can of fruit (or two) when they pop in to shop or say hello.

Feed LH serves the limited, fixed and low income population of LH by distributing food, helping with homework and sending kids to camp.

The Store has a variety of special events planned to celebrate their first 16 years, including a visit by Accessory Jane co-founder Vicky Larsen Friday from 11-4 on Friday and a stop-in by Priscilla Morales, co-creator of Miss Pris young girls active wear, Saturday from 11-4. There will be goodie bags, an hourly prize walk and tasting samples of The Store’s new food lines, including Big Little Fudge, Cloister Honey and Stonewall Kitchen.
